Santa Ana police have identified the suspect as a man who is a 20 year old Orange resident, Alejandro Rivas, who is presently on probation for several felonies. If you are aware of the whereabouts of Mr. Rivas you are asked to contact the Santa Ana Police.
Hit and run pedestrian accidents, especially those that are fatal are troubling to us. However, they are becoming more and more common. If the driver is unidentified, you will need to fall back on your own UM/UIM or Uninsured/Under-Insured Motorist coverage on your own insurance policy. This is why we recommend that you maximize this portion of your auto policy. It is comparatively inexpensive, and some of the most valuable insurance you can carry.
If you or someone you love has been injured or lost in a hit and run pedestrian accident, we invite you to call us for a free consultation at (949)305-1400. We work on a contingency fee basis so there is no cost to you out of pocket.
