A major car accident in Garden Grove involving seven vehicles has resulted in injuries for some of the parties involved. The accident occurred this past week on Monday in the afternoon at or about the 22 freeway going eastbound near the Harbor Boulevard exit in the city of Garden Grove. An initial accident between two vehicles caused a chain reaction that involved seven cars, and caused several injuries to drivers and passengers involved who were treated at local area hospitals. Luckily, the freeway was not closed, and traffic was kept open despite the accident.
Sometimes minor accidents involving other vehicles ahead of you, can trigger chain reactions that can also result in you becoming involved. For this reason, it is always important to practice safe driving habits. For instance, it is crucial to keep a safe driving distance between the vehicle in front of you, in case they are involved in an accident or make a sudden drastic stop. Without a safe buffer distance, there is a high risk that you may collide with them. Another important habit to practice is defensive driving techniques, and constant attentiveness to the road. Distracted drivers have become a major source of accidents resulting in injury throughout Orange County. By always paying attention to other drivers, and potential accidents ahead of you, you may do a better job to practice defensive driving techniques to avoid potential hazards.
