A second victim has passed away after a fatal Anaheim car truck accident Sunday. The car, driven by one of the victims, allegedly ran a red light at an intersection and ran into a tanker truck. A woman passenger in the front seat was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and another passenger were declared brain-dead after the accident, and now the driver has succumbed to his injuries. This is a tragic accident, and while the driver of the car appears to have been at fault, the passengers in his car and their families may have a claim.
In many cases, when the passengers are not a member of the driver’s immediate family they are able to substantiate a claim against the insurance of the driver to recover for a wrongful death or for the costs associated with injuries resulting from an accident. The circumstances surrounding the accident are quite important in these cases, however an injured passenger often has a rightful claim. If you or someone you love has been injured as a passenger in a motor vehicle accident, or has lost their life in a fatal accident I would like to speak with you.
My name is Rivers Morrell, and I have more than 40 years of experience as an injury and wrongful death attorney here in Southern California. This fatal Anaheim car truck accident was quite tragic, and the lives of the three occupants of the car and their families are forever changed. In California, when someone loses their life due to the negligence of another it is termed a “wrongful death.” The family of a wrongful death victim has a limited amount of time to bring a legal action against the person who caused the fatal accident. I invite any passengers who are injured, and the families of those who lose their life in fatal accidents due to someone else’s negligence to call for a free consultation at (949)305-1400. Our thoughts are with the families of all involved in Sunday’s tragic accident.
