A serious car accident in Santa Ana on Thursday morning caused injuries to a young woman and her two young children. The accident occurred as she was driving on the westbound 22 freeway near Main Street exit near Santa Ana. The female driver was cut off by another driver, and she was forced to swerve to avoid a collision. This caused her vehicle to overturn and crash into the center divider, which blocked multiple lanes of traffic as a result of the accident. Traffic was significantly delayed in the morning rush hour traffic. The woman, and her two children, reported serious injuries and were treated at a local area hospital in the city of Orange.
If you are involved in a vehicular accident, you and any injured passengers, including children, can receive compensation for your damages and injuries from the at fault party’s insurance coverage. Children are usually more susceptible to soft tissue injuries due to their smaller size, and the fact that car equipment such as safety belts were designed and manufactured for grown adults.
