Big Rig Truck Accident Closes I-5 Freeway Near Anaheim

A large traffic accident on the I-5 freeway near the city of Anaheim caused major traffic congest and closed multiple freeways for a short period of time. The accident occurred on Wednesday in the afternoon and occurred when a large big rig truck flipped on the freeway connector for the 22 freeway where it intersects with the I-5 freeway. The accident also affected the 57 northbound freeway near the area. The truck driver had to be transported to local area hospitals for minor injuries. California Highway Patrol officers were still investigated the circumstances of the crash.

Big truck accidents such as this typically involve other cars and can cause significant property and bodily injuries. Luckily, it appears that this accident did not involve any other vehicles other than the subject big rig truck. Oftentimes, a truck will be involved in an accident with vehicles on either side of it. Due to the sheer size and mass of big rig trucks, even minor accidents can result in significant damages and injuries to other drivers involved.
