A violent fatal car accident in Huntington Beach yesterday is under investigation. Huntington Beach police were called to the area of Beach Boulevard and Taylor Drive around 9:30 pm last night. A collision between a red 2007 Honda Fit and a 2012 Volkswagen Passat resulted in the loss of two lives and injuries to three others.
The Passat had major damage to the front end of the vehicle. The Fit suffered a substantial impact to the passenger side of the vehicle. Reports from the scene suggested the Volkswagen came into contact with the Honda Fit resulting in traumatic injuries to the occupants of that vehicle. Both occupants of the Honda unfortunately lost their life in this accident.
The driver of the Volkswagen remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. The driver of the Passat and his two female passengers all suffered moderate injuries. This fatal car accident in Huntington Beach yesterday is still under investigation, but several parties will have personal injury claims.
