A woman lost her life in an Ortega Highway crash yesterday. The fatal car accident occurred just before 1:00 a.m. just east of the San Juan Creek Bridge in San Juan Capistrano. The California Highway Patrol reports that the driver lost control of his white Toyota sedan and left the highway striking the right side embankment. The driver was transported to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo with unknown injuries. Our thoughts are with the families of the two victims in this accident.
